We never write for you
Edith only ever leaves notes, comments, and suggestions, exactly like a human editor in the margins. She never rewrites your prose or generates text in your place. Every word in the finished book is yours.
Never used to train AI
We process your manuscript only to generate your editorial feedback. We never use your writing to train AI models, and the AI provider that processes it is bound by commercial terms that forbid training on it too. Your work is never anyone's training data.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
Your manuscript is encrypted the whole way: with TLS while it travels to and from the service, and with AES-256, the standard used to protect sensitive financial data, while it is stored. In storage it stays unreadable without authorised access.
Private to your account
Your manuscript is locked to your account. Other users can't see it, and we never share, sell, or publish your work. It exists to be edited by you, and no one else.
Built on independently audited infrastructure
Your work is hosted and handled on cloud infrastructure that is independently audited to the SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards for security and data protection, with GDPR-ready data handling and Standard Contractual Clauses for any international transfers. We build on certified foundations rather than rolling our own.
Your data, your control
You can request a copy of your data or delete your account and manuscripts at any time. When you delete, your content is removed from our systems.
